Juneteenth - office closed

In observance of Juneteenth, our office will be closed on Friday, June 19.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when General Gordon Granger announced in Galveston, Texas that all enslaved people were free, enforcing the Emancipation Proclamation more than two years after it was issued.

It has since become a day to honor the end of slavery in the United States and to celebrate African American freedom, resilience, and culture.
